1.
Guadalupe 05:08
Oh my Feet, They do not carry me They stumble and make me fall Aching, unsteady Weary of the winding trail Overlooking fields grown stale Southern wind blowing fierce Cotton flapping like a sail Eight thousand feet in the air Your face with thousand yard stare Break yourself on my stones The hills speak in hushed tones Overcome me today Or return to your homes Grey rock stained crimson Painless, we fled before them Was I too bold? Was I too?
2.
Wash Away 05:28
The autumn winds are rolling in Leaves fall and cover the earth Summer fades, and your warmth goes with it No hands on my shoulder Take me back to where we began With dusty floors and shaky hands So hold me now, lay beside me dear We'll wait for rain to wash away Rivers leading me from my fears But your face makes me wanna stay Trust me love, feel me now You can't see, what have you done to me (x2) Now your eyes, no longer meet mine Spring brings a change in color You pierced your hand, drank the wine And passed it along to another
3.
Just a Day 03:41
I'm going too fast down this dusty road I'm not here for too long, just a day And I, I must go 'Cause I, I will fade Fireflies draw me into the night Mockingbird leads me back underneath blue light This is not my own property This pond and field, or the bricks surrounding And I, I've taken a lover And he, he will change me You're standing there under light with the wind in your hair Holding your baby girl, rustling her blond curls A new birth sprung forth from decay Cultured growth on this film slate
4.
Mockingbird 04:31
Mockingbird, mimic me Repeat the things you see Fly away, spread your wings Don't dwell on earthly things Sing your song, dance your dance Show me your pure hands Glide alongside your brother Don't sink below with the others Mockingbird, imitator Know not your creator What has lead you here? Is it your love or your fears? Comforting or Controlling Why do you always sing? You'll be lifted by the wind A messenger with no message to send
5.
Stainless 03:18
In my grasp Now just out of reach Stainless steel flask Carve out your speech Stare a moment longer Contemplate You can't see me Watching me exhale, by the garage door Smoke rolls out, every time you tore These words have grown old As we've grown cold Sentimental value Sharing a love seat Holding my words Take your time
6.
Helios 04:21
Out in the twilight, where no eye can see You are waiting there, just for me You're silhouette, whimpering I sink to my knees, no more songs to sing Sunrise oh sunrise, when will you come? I've been waiting so long, I can't be the only one Are you behind the waves Crashing in to me Are you in the current Pulling me in to the deep So many imitators, fooling Helios, come to me Sunrise oh sunrise, when will you come? I've been waiting so long, I can't be the only one
7.
Willow Creek 03:47
Treeless limbs Wave back and forth like an ocean Voices raised Hurricane take me with the wind Kneel down with me Kneel down with me Golden jewelry Adorns the hands of old Fossilized by the teeth Jellyfish swirling below Kneel down with me
8.
Oasis 04:29
Crystal light reflects, on to your face Hazel and Amber, dancing together Oasis of mine, how could I find? Timeless joy, that time will destroy Overwhelming flood, water moves as blood Giving life, twisting the knife Glass lens shattered through, (my) perception of you Bold but frail, like leaves through gale I won't let you go Take my hand and follow If I leave it will you run away? But if I don't what will make you stay? The mirror shows not who you are Just the detail of every scar The smoke has lifted from you No longer blocking my view Sunlight blinding my eyes But i still yearn to see the sky (x2)
9.
Summer rain, brewing behind the walls of grey A canopy over the potter's field where i lay Holding pace, holding place Mockingbirds, sing of memory Rolling clouds, engulfing me Painted in the sky, a relic of time Father's words echo through the evergreen An ancient praise for me to sing
